  1. Most of them chose vegan food products as I have a point that cereals and pulses have longer period of shelf life and can be stored at normal room temperature. These cereals and legumes do have many natural properties like antimicrobial, antifugal etc which contributes to longer shelf life storage and easy consumption when cooked properly.
  2. Yes , i do agree with this. Most of the consumers have a perception of choosing well packed, reasonable price and attractive product than looking into the label. Why is it? Most of the brand holders pretend to convey what they have incorporated particularly in the product and also hesitate to mention them on the labels. They just say that they are consumer minded but focusing on the market, sales and profit majorly. The labeling must have allergic contents in bold , different colour and framed for the consumer's notice.
  3. As I am a vegetarian, i would tell no. All the amino acids present in the meat protein isn't available in the plant protein. Even though if the amino acids are present in plant protein, it would be in lesser amount that the body would prefer . I would like to share my own experience. I was a person who doesn't eat egg at all and had heavy hairfall with frizzy appearance and never appealing. But after studying about poultry and meat products in my course, i took a step to have an egg everyday. Right after a week i was amazed by looking at my hair texture being smooth , limited hairfall and neat. This made me think that I am not getting enough protein especially the essentials proteins are lacking in my plant protein meal.
  4. Can Sugar-free pellets harm our body system?
  5. Having a sweet tooth , even I am a sugar addict i can say. But we need to have knowledge on what kind of sugars we are preferring in our product to be. I would personally stick on to jaggery, honey and also natural sweeteners like stevia. Another point comes into the frame is the amount of sugar that your consuming. This plays a major role, so i would suggest people to go for sugar substitutes or decrease the amount of sugar intake than regular. And we need to educate ourselves on these issues as we know the quote ' Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food' and let's stick on to this .
